Torn and Cut Paper Collages by 1st Grade

First Graders read Leo Lionni’s book, Six Crows. Lionni uses the technique of collage to tell the story of a farmer, a scarecrow, and six naughty crows. Students modeled their own collages after the images in the book, using torn and cut paper along with paint.
